Can Yoga reveal a formula for happiness? Is it possible to live a worry-free life, if we were to follow Yogic teachings? What holds us back from finding happiness? What would one day of harmony be like? Let's look deeper into Yoga and discover proven methods for resolving life's daily problems.

Can Yoga reveal a formula for happiness? In a nutshell - the answer is "yes." The problem is that most people are looking for a fast solution. Yoga does not supply us with quick and temporary solutions. Yoga becomes the practitioner's lifestyle, because it is based upon 5,000 years of documentation and research.

In other words, one has to practice Yoga, for an extended time, before seeing the deeper results. How long will that be? It depends on the willingness of a practitioner to maintain a steady practice and the realistic tracking of results. Contrary to popular myths, lifestyle changes rarely happen in a day, week, or month.

Most often, the positive results of Yoga practice can be noticed in physical appearance, or behavior; but these are gradual changes. One book, DVD, class, or seminar may be the "seed of change," but it is daily practice, which creates changes that become easy to notice over time.

Is it possible to live a worry-free life if we were to follow Yogic teachings? Everyone experiences worry, but a Yogic lifestyle does reduce worry, stress, and anxiety. As humans, all of us experience the "ups and downs" of life. Yet, each of us learns how to manage stress, worry, anxiety, and anger - with the practice of Yoga techniques.

What would one day of harmony be like? If you cannot remember the last time you had a harmonious day, you should begin learning more about Yoga today. Obviously, life can be a "long and winding road," but each of us should become familiar with stress reduction methods. At the same time, each of us should become familiar with the many Yogic methods that bring about states of happiness and tranquility.

In Hatha Yoga, a practitioner may learn asanas, mantras, mudras, pranayama, meditation, and relaxation techniques. Each of the above-mentioned methods can be practiced for the purpose of reducing stress and creating states of tranquility. As an example: Most people are familiar with asanas (Yoga postures).

Whether you hold these postures for an extended amount of time, or you perform them in a sequence, you will release nervous energy from your body. All of us have nervous energy, but asana practice allows us to use it constructively.

Infertility Yoga - Boost Your Fertility and Get Pregnant With Infertility Yoga

Infertility yoga is a gentle way to enhance your fertility, while relaxing your mind and body and strengthening your reproductive organs. Yoga is an ancient tradition specifically practiced for general health and well-being and, it is particularly helpful for resolving difficulties with fertility and sexuality.

Yoga works with the mind and the body, relaxing the mind and exercising the body to bring balance to both. It can be effective for women with blocked fallopian tubes, hormone imbalances or other fertility challenges, and it is also helpful for helping women to relieve stress, relax and prepare mentally and physically for conception.

The yoga poses used in infertility yoga may appear to be predominantly for the female, but they are good for both partners, and it can be nice to do the exercises together. The poses focus mainly on the hips and pelvis where we support the physical body and hold the physical expression of emotion, both physical and mental tension. They will also help blood flow and balance the hormones.

Another aspect of infertility yoga is increasing the flow of oxygen and blood to the brain, as this is where the hypothalamus and pituitary gland are located. These two glands release hormones into the blood, so it is important to incorporate yoga poses that nourish these important glands, and improve the way they function.

Many couples are concerned that they will not be able to do any of the yoga exercises, as they have never done yoga before. You don't need to be as flexible as a yogi master to do infertility yoga. The exercises are very gentle and you should not force or push the body beyond your own limits. With repeated exercising, you will notice your flexibility will improve quite naturally.

Another concern is the cost. I would recommend you purchase a DVD that explains how do to the yoga positions, but apart from that, there's not much else you nee. All you need to perform these poses is a mat or rug, some loose comfortable clothing and a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. There is a Fertility Yoga DVD available to guide you through the movements, and plays beautiful relaxing music. If you don't have the DVD, some quiet, gentle music is optional.

Breathing is fundamental to yoga, as it helps you to relax, and increases the flow of oxygen into the body. So when practicing yoga, start breathing more deeply and slowly, and maintain this rhythm of breathing through out the session, as best you can. While you are lying there adjusting your breathing, mentally scan your body, releasing any tension by tensing and relaxing, particularly your anus and the reproductive area.

This is not a video for a neophyte. The following pertains to those desiring to begin a yoga practice; all others can disregard it. From a certain perspective, this is an excellent video, for it stimulated me enough to write a review. The grain of sand that irritates an oyster to produce a pearl. This video is so bad, it's good. Surreal? Unreal? How does one adequately describe the ineffable? An emaciated chick with artificial hair color in front of an artificial (traveling matte) set, with a disembodied voice giving meditation instructions following drumbeats? The pulse of IT in A Wrinkle In Time?

First of all, you must ask yourself why you are even contemplating this video. Higher consciousness? Fitness? Well-being? Personal development? Why kundalini yoga in particular? What is its history? Who developed it and why? What prerequisites, soul qualities, seriousness or sense of holiness are demanded of the practitioner? Watch the following video, substituting Yoga for Karate:

Do you think this person can truly help you reach your goals?:

Dangerous? A glass of water can quench thirst. A pond can drown. Don't let your mind be squished like a grape. What is kundalini syndrome? Can it be precipitated by performing the Born Free sequence whereby one dredges up all of one's negativity and anger?:

Notice that Mr. Singh does actually stipulate that one be conscious--or at least have the desire to be so. While it is true that Kali Yuga ended in 1899, the vernal equinox is still in the sign of the Fish, not the Water Bearer. The book I AM THAT by Nisargadatta would be helpful to the reader to understand the full import of what is implied by this statement that one be conscious.

Whom do you trust with your body, soul, and spirit? For me, it would have to be someone like this:

It contains a yoga video and a stretching video (basically a yoga primer), and virtually all of the remaining discs contain some element of yoga--that's the system's secret. If you are looking for a starter video on yoga, buy a Sarah Ivanhoe video. If you really want to learn about yoga, though, pursuing it because you recognize its life-sustaining character, read the book Yoga and Health by Yesudian, available used as a hardback, or newly released paperback from Harmony Publishing, Edinburgh. If you desire to expand your consciousness, then familiarize yourself with Raja Yoga

Having done that, if you are of the West, read the book Enlivening the Chakra of the Heart, which addresses the Eastern practice of raising kundalini from below upwards in contrast to the Western practice of above downwards, comparing it with what you have learned about self-control; and then--and only then--determine if you are ready for kundalini yoga. Another blissful DVD from Ravi and Ana - Leanne - San Diego, CA
This is my fifth DVD from Ravi and Ana, but it's the first one I've bought from the new series that they've put out from 2009-2010. I almost didn't buy it because I've seen so many negative comments about the new look of these more recent workouts. I actually love the new backdrop; yes, it's fake, but it's so bright and cheerful to look at, and I enjoy looking at it. Ana also looks as radiant as always, and she brings her usual grace to this new workout.

I've had this DVD for a few months now, but wanted to wait to write a review so I could use it more and comment on it. Several other people have broken down the various sequences, so I will just add that the Matrix and Premix options are great, as usual. There are five premixes, ranging from 35 minutes to 60 minutes, so you can fit in some transformative yoga even when you have little time.

The Gobinday chant is one of the highlights of this DVD for me. The first time doing it, I felt a little silly, but now I look forward to it and the lovely feeling it imparts.

I also wanted to add that this DVD doesn't feel quite as strenuous to me as some of their other videos. If you're looking for more of a "workout" video, then perhaps you could try their Fat Free Yoga or Kundalini Yoga for Beginners. This one, however, really does energize me and fill me with positive energy, which was exactly what I was hoping it would do!



Great new Kundalini Yoga Workout - Dwayne Forrest - Bar Harbor, ME
Yoga , to me, is about movement, freeing energy flows in my body, getting centered, and quieting my mind chatter. Any of Ana & Ravis DVDs do this perfectly but Transformer takes it to a whole other level! The exercises are easy to do but challenging and you will work areas of the body you don't usually work to get into "the pain of the past" and purify it. I feel like I had a year of pschycotherapy after I am done - blissed and free!

I would highly recommend this DVD to anyone of any level wanting an energizing and effective practice.

What is continually amazing to me? In spite of making at least 20 Kundalini yoga DVDs, Ravi and Ana manage to come up with new sets!
