Sun Salute Expanded is the second in a two part DVD series from internationally known yoga instructor, Mary Paffard. It is a 2 hour practice and is for intermediate students or those with some experience of yoga and no major health problems. It can be done in sections or be enjoyed as a whole practice and it includes a warm up section, 4 Sun Salute chapters on different themes and a cool down and relaxation. You can mix and match depending on your schedule and interests.

Also available from Mary Paffard is the first DVD in the series, Sun Salute Simplified. This program breaks down the Sun Salute and helps more beginning students buildup to the complete practice safely and fluidly. It points out common tendencies and suggests ways to avoid injury and to get the most out of the full sequence. This dvd has been very helpful to teachers.

Mary Paffard has been a practitioner of yoga since the early 70s and is currently Director of teacher training at Yoga Mendocino, California - a non-profit organization which brings community into yoga and yoga into community. Mary has been teaching nationally and internationally since 1985.
